2003 – 2021
In 1994, A much younger Hugh Alexander was watching a television broadcast. These were the earliest days of his Christianity. He was so moved by one particular message that he prayed a prayer that will change his life forever. He simply saidLord Jesus, And please make me a part of this. Almost Immediately his life began to change. One miraculous meeting after another began to take place until eventually he was employed by the very television station he was watching when he prayed. The truth is,Hugh was not entirely sure whether he was praying to be part of the TV network or to be part of the ministry. He just knew that he was supposed to be a part of what he was looking at. Hugh bagan planning to record a TV show with a focus on the prophetic. He didnt know how to do anything like this back then but he did know what the show would be about. The Word of God. When he read the words Jesus spoke in John 6:63, he knew what to call the ministry. Spirit and Life TV.
The spirit and life television programme was born a few years later in 2004. Hugh moved to Wellingborough and set up his first tv studio where he began to record his first series. The programs were originally shown on revelation TV and Dove TV who were still in a growing phases at the time. Since then, Hugh has appeared as a guest presenter on several tv networks, but again, most notably revelation TV. In 2006, Spirit and Life became The flagship program for a new and exciting television network called Faith globe TV. Dr Hugh has spent over 18 years in broadcast media, often preaching, encouraging, and co-presenting as part of a Bible study team. The appearances continued right up until the beginning of the 2020 Covid pandemic when he was finally and permanently released from the rtv channel. Perhaps one good thing that has come out of the 18 month lockdown was the rebirth of the Spirit and Life TV ministry which is now in full flow… we hope you enjoy the many programs you will find here.
